Messaging Policy

Platform-level disclosure for the SoldIQ messaging service. Last updated August 5, 2026.

The short version.

SoldIQ is the software a dealership uses to text its own customers. Every message identifies the dealership, goes only to people who gave that dealership their number, is sent during reasonable local hours, and stops the instant you reply STOP. Message and data rates may apply.

1. Who is sending

SoldIQ does not run a messaging program of its own and does not market to consumers by text. We provide the platform; each message is sent on behalf of, and in the name of, a specific dealership that is our customer. That dealership decides who it talks to and is the business you are dealing with.

Each dealership also publishes its own messaging terms and privacy policy on its own website, naming its business, its phone number and its contact address. That page is the program disclosure for the number you are texting with; this page describes the platform behind it.

2. How consent is obtained

A person receives text messages through SoldIQ only if they gave the dealership their number in one of these ways:

Consent is never a condition of purchasing anything. Purchased, rented, scraped and third-party lists are prohibited by our terms of service, and the platform blocks messages to a number with no consent record on file.

Every consent event is stored with what happened and when — a number given in a Messenger thread is recorded differently from a submitted form, because the evidence is different. Opt-outs are recorded on the same trail.

3. Message types

The platform is built for conversations and appointment logistics. Broadcast marketing campaigns are not a feature. A dealership that sends promotional messages must have separate express written consent for them and must disclose that program on its own page.

4. Message frequency

Frequency varies by conversation — typically one to four messages per exchange, plus appointment reminders where you have booked one. A per-lead daily cap limits how many messages any one person can receive in a day regardless of what else is happening, and follow-ups on a quiet conversation are limited and stop on their own.

5. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Neither the dealership nor SoldIQ charges you to receive or send these messages. Delivery is not guaranteed and depends on your carrier.

6. Opting out — STOP

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT work the same way. You will get one final confirmation and then nothing further.

7. Getting help — HELP

Reply HELP to any message and you will get a reply identifying the dealership and how to reach it directly. You can also contact the dealership by the phone number or address on its own website, or write to us at hello@soldiq.app and we will connect you with the right business.

8. Quiet hours

Automated messages are sent between 9:00 am and 8:00 pm in the recipient's own local time zone, determined from the area code of the number. A message that would fall outside that window is rescheduled to the next permitted time, not dropped — so a follow-up queued at 2 am goes out in the morning.

One deliberate exception: if you text the dealership and it replies to you within a short window (about fifteen minutes) of your message, that reply is sent whenever you wrote, because you are the one waiting for it. Nothing else is exempt. Dealerships operating in states with stricter calling-hour rules are responsible for configuring their hours accordingly.

9. Automation and human review

Some replies are drafted with automated technology and are always sent on the dealership's behalf. Conversations that involve a complaint, a legal or credit question, or anything the system is unsure about are handed to a person at the dealership, and a salesperson can take over any conversation at any time. Facebook Messenger replies on a salesperson's personal account are always written by a person before they are sent.

10. Privacy

We collect names, phone numbers, message content and inquiry details in order to respond on the dealership's behalf. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Our full privacy policy explains what we collect, who processes it, how long we keep it, and how to request access or deletion.
